About Stammprojekte

Welcome to Stammprojekte! My name is Tobias, and I think that anyone with a little know-how can build their own very individual furniture, lights and furnishings. My goal is, therefore, to write high-quality articles about woodworking and building furniture for my readers—you.

With my articles I'd like to give you the necessary basic knowledge on the one hand so that you can successfully build your projects according to your wishes, and on the other hand introduce you to my projects.

The projects should serve as inspirational or template for your own projects. I also want to introduce you to jigs with which you can complete your projects faster, easier and/or safer.

I love wood! The unbelievable variety of how it looks, how it feels and how it smells. And I love the endless possibilities of how to work with it and what you can do with wood even more. This love started with a wooden coffee filter holder and it continues to this day.

Every beginning is difficult! Just like it is (somewhat) difficult to deal with tools and figure out how to use them properly—in my opinion—it is with websites. Therefore, I would like to briefly explain what you can find on Stammprojekte:

• In the Projects section you will find all the things that I have made myself and would like to show to you.
• Within the category Knowledge you will find articles with basic knowledge about woodworking. Often it is the small things that are explained in these articles that make builds doable or that make them much easier or better through the "aha-effect".
• I review the tools I use. These reviews are intended to help you choose the right tool. So that projects can be completed faster, easier and safer, As with every woodworking site, a category about Jigs must not be missing.
